This is a neat little item from George C. Weidenmayer's Rein Bran Brewery & Family Resort in Newark. It's a noise maker made of heavy paper on the front and sort of a tissue paper on the half of the back. You would fold it over and then pull it quickly downward and I guess it would make a popping or cracking sound as it open, which is why it was called a "cracker" . It's from 1916 and I doubt there are many in this condition out there...
